PRAYER MINISTRY

Prayer at Ungil Chais Fellowship Church is an important part of the church family life and defines who we are.  We are a praying people.  Through prayer, we grow in our personal relationship with God.  We connect with the Father through prayer and follow the leading of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.  Through intercession, we allow God to establish His heart, will and purpose in our families, our church, and our community.

WORSHIP MINISTRY

At UCF, we believe that worship is one of the primary responsibilities of a believer in Christ. Therefore, we treat God's requirements to worship Him as a priority in our lives and lifestyles.

"Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and the truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks."  John 4:23.

It is our desire in the UCF Worship Ministry for participants to grow and unify as a team in the understanding of biblical principles of worship. We believe that the basis for involvement should begin with a sense of God's calling. The Lord desires His people to be focused on Him, experiencing Him and responding to Him. It is our goal to create worship experience where people connect with God and are eager to praise and encounter Him in worship.

MEN'S FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY

Growing in Wisdom and Discernment; Walking in the Perfect Will of God.

"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth, you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ."  Romans 15:5-6

As a fellowship of godly men, our goal is to be Christ-like in every aspect; led by the Holy Spirit, we yearn for the support and encouragement shared among one another.  Each individual's spiritual growth relies on the love of God through the sharing of personal testimonies, experiences, encounters, and other sources that strengthen and promote our faith, realizing the blessing God so preciously gives us.

Most fellowships take place within the church facilities but are occasionally brought out to a different setting and environment such as outdoor camps or beaches where enjoyment of God-given natural resources can be part of our fellowship plan.

So, if you are ever in Oahu or if you reside on the island and wanted to explore your inner Christian desire- Now is the time!  The doors are open wide as we welcome you.  Or if you just want to know more about us? Join the Palauan men fellowship group and you will be blessed that you did!

WOMEN'S FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY

Whether you study on your own or in a women's fellowship, taking the time to study the Bible helps you to grow in your relationship with God and to also give you spiritual perspective on caring for your child/children, marriage and work, while reminding you of the beauty and strength within you through Christ Jesus.

With today's hectic pace of life, many women get lost in the hustle and bustle of taking care of their homes and children, cooking, cleaning, work and a whole host of other responsibilities.  That is why women's fellowship is very important.  Getting together with other women in a more relaxed atmosphere to study the Bible and to share and encourage one another will help you reconnect with both yourself and your spirituality.

If you desire to journey with other women through God's Divine Word and experience laughter, tears, and great friendship along the way, then please join the UCF women's fellowship biweekly after the Sunday worship from 4-5:30 p.m.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY

Ungil Chais Fellowship Young Adult Ministry is a group of young adults who have the desire in seeking the Lord through worship and fellowship.

We are encouraged by this verse: "Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity."

1 Timothy 4:12

Young Adults meet several times a month to have fellowship, encourage one another with God's Word, share their experiences about their growth in faith and sing praise and worship. They also have the opportunity to lead worship once a month.

We would love to have you join us if you are a young adult living in Oahu looking for a group to join and grow to know more about Christ with fellow peers.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Ungil Chais Fellowship Children's ministry consists of ages 1-10-year-old and it aims to inspire the young ones about God's unconditional love for them!  We believe that if we teach and nurture God's words to these children in the early years, they will not depart from it.  They learn to memorize God's words, listen to real-life stories from the bible, in addition to the personal testimonies of other church members.  We also provide activities to develop a better understanding of who God is and who we are to Him.

We encourage you to trust God with your child and give him/her an opportunity to learn and grow in the grace and love of God.

Children are dismissed mid-service to their own comfortable space where they will continue with their Sunday school service after worshiping in song and prayer with their parents.  You are welcome to join us for worship and are encouraged to bring your child even if you cannot make it to the service.

The Children's ministry can witness how God has blessed families and others through the lives of these children and again, we hope you will give that opportunity to your child. GOD BLESS YOU!

COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRY

"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.  And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."  Matthew 28:19-20

"And you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."  Acts1:8b

At Ungil Chais Fellowship Church, outreach is every believer's responsibility.  Our vision for local outreach is to instruct and equip our members in the obedient pursuit of the Great Commission given by Jesus Christ and His disciples (Matthew 28:18-20).  We are called to lead people to grow their relationship with Jesus Christ.

With this in mind, our goal is to proclaim the gospel to individuals locally, nationally, and globally through the power of the Holy Spirit and to the glory of God.  Jesus said, "the greatest commandment is to love the Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and will all your strength."  He went on to say that the second commandment is just as important" to love your neighbor as yourself." (Matthew 22:37-39).  This is the heart behind everything we do with local & global outreach.

We desire to help create a culture of outreach where every individuals, families or small groups can find a place to reach the lost and the needy within our local community.  Opportunities to bless others come in all shapes and sizes.  Our local outreach mission include reaching out to families at a local homeless shelter and conduct food drives to benefit a meal service center for the needy. We are also reaching out to different Palauan groups and communities in O`ahu including the Palau Referral House in Honolulu, students of Job Corps in Waimanalo, and Students of University of Hawai`i in Hilo to name a few.

The Lord keeps expanding our outreach ministry field as we continue to proclaim the gospel and spread God's love to different parts of Hawai`i.
